On 27.07.2020, in the city of Sofia, between National Railway Infrastructure Company, in its capacity of an Employer, and “TINSA” Ltd (Contractor), a contract No. 11172/27.07.2020 was signed for the award of a public procurement with a subject: Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process for Elin Pelin – Kostenec railway section and traction substations Kazichene and Ihtiman.

TINSA Ltd now is the Notified Body also for EC assessment of the constituents

On 01.07.2020 г. Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications of Republic of Bulgaria have issued the ammended Permit №1-1/01.07.2020, in which TINSA Ltd was additional notified also for EC assessment of the interoperability constituents included in the subsystems: "Energy", "Infrastructure", "Trackside Control-Command and Signalling" and "On-board Control-Command and Signalling".

Risk Assessment of the Buildings of Railway Stations

On 15.01.2019, in the city of Sofia, between the National Railway Infrastructure Company, in its capacity of Employer, and “TINSA” Ltd (Contractor), a contracts were signed for public procurement award with subject "Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of projects for reconstruction of the Buildings of Railway Stations, with three detached positions", for the following positions:

  • Detached position № 1 "Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Stara Zagora Railway Station";
  • Detached position № 2 "Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Nova Zagora Railway Station";
  • Detached position № 3 "Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Karnobat Railway Station";

A team of Tinsa participated in the "Spаce for innovation in rail" forum

A team of Tinsa participated in the “Spаce for innovation in rail” forum, an opportunity to discuss the innovation and digitalisation in the rail sector with a special focus on GNSS applications for rail. The event took place in Vienna, Austria on 18-19 March 2019, under the auspices of the Austrian Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology, and jointly organised by the European GNSS Agency (GSA), Shift2rail Joint Undertaking (S2R JU), and the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA).

The jointly organised event brought together about 150 people representing Europe’s rail stakeholders, including the rail users’ community, the rail industry and service providers, specialised media, and policy-makers in the areas of mobility, multimodality and innovation. The main focus was the important role of satellite-based positioning technology for the future of the European railway sector. Among the officials who also presented reports were Mrs. Elisabeth Werner – Director DG MOVE, Mr. Matthias Petschke – Director DG GROW, Mr. Josef Doppelbauer – Executive Director ERA, Mr. Carlo Borghini – Executive Director Shift2RailJU.

On 15.01.2019, in the city of Sofia, between the National Railway Infrastructure Company, in its capacity of Employer, and “TINSA” Ltd (Contractor), a contracts were signed for public procurement award with subject "EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability and Independent Safety Assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of projects for reconstruction of the Buildings of Railway Stations, with nine detached positions", for the following positions:

  • Detached position № 1 "EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Podujane Railway Station";
  • Detached position № 2 "EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Iskar Railway Station";
  • Detached position № 3 "EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Kazichane Railway Station";
  • Detached position № 4 "EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability of project for reconstruction of the Buildings of Stara Zagora Railway Station";

On 19.12.2018, in the city of Sofia, between the National Railway Infrastructure Company, in its capacity of an Employer, and "TINSA" Ltd (Contractor), a contract 6331/19.12.2018 was signed for public procurement award with subject: EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability of Project "Rehabilitation of the railway line Plovdiv – Burgas, phase 2".

Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of the Sofia – Voluyak section

On 28.11.2018, in the city of Sofia, between National Railway Infrastructure Company, in its capacity of an Employer, and "TINSA" Ltd (Contractor), a contract No. 6301/28.10.2018 was signed for the award of a public procurement with a subject: Independent assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process for project "2014-BG-TMS-0133-W – Development of the railway junction Sofia: Railway section Sofia – Voluyak".

EC Verification and Risk Assessment of the Krumovo – Dimitrovgrad section

On 26.10.2018, in the city of Sofia, between the National Railway Infrastructure Company, in its capacity of Employer, and “TINSA” Ltd (Contractor), a contract 6267/26.10.2018 was signed for public procurement award with subject: EC Conformity Verification and Assessment of the interoperability and Independent Safety Assessment of the suitability of the application of the risk management process of railway section from km 164+575 in Krumovo – Katunica interstation to km 231+560 in Yabalkovo – Dimitrovgrad interstation, with two detached positions”.

Participation in XIII National Scientific-Practical Conference "Measurements for Transport"

Experts from TINSA Ltd. participated in the XIII National Scientific-Practical Conference "Measurements for Transport", held on the occasion of World Metrology Day – 20-th of May and organized by Bulgarian Metrological Institute, State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance and Union of the Metrologists in Bulgaria.

The Conference was held on 19-th of May 2017 in the conference room of the Executive Agency "Bulgarian Accreditation Service", 52A “Dr. G. M. Dimitrov” Blvd., Sofia, with participants from State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance, Bulgarian Metrological Institute, testing laboratories and Techical University of Sofia.

MSc Eng. Borislav Boiadjiev presented a paper "Interoperability and measurement requirements in the Railway Transport". Authors of the paper are: Assoc. Prof. PhD MSc Eng.
